Reindeer

Reindeer are a deer species that live in large herds in the colder regions of North America, northern Europe and northern Asia. In nature they have the same stick-like antlers as the one from Schleich® Wild Life. They are the only deer species where the female also has antlers. Another special feature is their hooves. They are very wide and spread as they walk. This creates a characteristic creaking or cracking sound.Fun Fact: The reindeer coat turns lighter in winter so that animals are better camouflaged in the snowy landscape.

Starting at the material suppliers, there is strict scrutiny from our quality assurance representatives. The paints used are perfectly adapted to the various types of plastic and have the greatest mechanical and chemical resistance. They ensure that Schleich products last a long time and make all of our products resistant to perspiration, saliva and wear – meaning they are completely safe to play with. The product is released for production only when it meets all the laws, standards and guidelines.
